X-Ray Technologist- PRN

Administer ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic exams as ordered by the physician, exercising individual judgment consistent with legal requirements. Demonstrate competency with differing X-ray equipment and select appropriate software options and imaging parameters to produce high-quality images. Effectively communicate with patients and radiologists to ensure comfort, safety, and satisfaction while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality. Maintain quality standards through process improvement and address concerns using all communication channels. Proficiently use EMR, PACS, and DICOM systems for image sharing and interpretation. Train and orient new technologists and patient coordinators as needed. Complete annual and ongoing education and site-specific competencies. Work in various environments including freestanding outpatient centers, mobile coaches, and hospital-based facilities with flexible scheduling.
