Job Summary
X-Ray Technologist sought to obtain quality x-rays by correct positioning and managing radiation exposure, implement safety procedures for patients, self, and staff, and create and document x-ray CD copies per Patient First guidelines. Role includes labeling images, understanding and operating x-ray/processing equipment, maintaining x-ray records and automated systems, ensuring patient safety with equipment like wheelchairs, restocking supplies, completing daily checklists, attending trainings, and being available as needed for center operations; requires at least a high school education, keyboarding experience, and ARRT registration, with 1–2 years clinical experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Keyboarding experience required
- One year of clerical experience preferred
- One year of clinical experience preferred
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
