Job Summary
As an X-ray Technologist, you will be responsible for obtaining quality x-rays, implementing safety procedures for radiation exposure, and documenting x-ray CD copies according to Patient First guidelines. You must ensure patient safety when using medical equipment and maintain x-ray paperwork. Responsibilities include cleaning work area per OSHA guidelines, managing supplies, and using an automated medical records system. A high school diploma or equivalent and ARRT registration are required, along with effective communication skills and keyboarding experience.
Required Qualifications
- Employee must be at least 18 years of age
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Keyboarding experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licensed to practice as a Radiographer by the Maryland Board of Physicians
Desired Qualifications
- One year of clerical experience preferred
- One year of clinical experience preferred
