Job Summary
X-ray Technologist responsible for obtaining quality x-rays with proper positioning and radiation exposure, implementing safety procedures to minimize exposure, labeling and documenting x-ray images, operating and maintaining X-ray and processing equipment, and using the automated medical records system. Roles include maintaining the daily log and X-ray status, managing supplies, adhering to Patient First policies, and supporting patient care with timely communication to physicians and nurses. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ARRT registration, Maryland radiographer license, and 1–2 years of clinical or physician-office experience; PT position with comprehensive benefits. Location includes Rockville, MD and Maryland, US with on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- ARRT-registered radiologic technologist or equivalent
- Licensed to practice as a Radiographer by the Maryland Board of Physicians
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Keyboarding experience
- One year of clerical experience preferred
- One year of clinical experience preferred
