Job Summary
X-Ray Technologist needed part-time to operate X-Ray imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging, position patients, ensure safety and radiation precautions, enter imaging data, and assist radiologists. Responsibilities include patient interviews and preparation, controlling access during imaging, adjusting technique parameters, moving and processing DICOM datasets, and participating in clinical rotations for X-ray students. Requires Associate's degree or equivalent, CA licensure, ARRT registration, and Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association. Opportunity includes paid sick time and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic Life Support Certified by American Heart Association
- Graduate of a certified school of X-ray technology
- Registered as a fully licensed X-ray technologist by ARRT bypassing the registry exam and qualifying for the position
- Holds required licensure by the state of California
