X-Ray Technologist - Pain Management

Job Summary
Perform diagnostic radiography procedures utilizing established protocols without constant supervision, adjusting ionizing radiation appropriately for patient care. Utilize complex imaging equipment for image acquisition, analysis, and documentation while administering PO and rectal contrast per physician orders. Identify patients using two identifiers, review history, and document patient records in the electronic system. Ensure exams are coded, tracked through the RIS system, and networked to ISITE for archiving. Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and solicit cooperation while demonstrating respect and dignity. Work daylight hours Monday through Friday with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date
- ARRT certified in Radiography
- CPR or BLS Required
- Act 34
