Job Summary
X-Ray Technologist for outpatient settings located in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Responsible for operating CR/Digital X-ray systems, performing Bone Density exams, obtaining patient history, ensuring proper patient identification in PACS, adhering to infection control and sterile procedures, conducting QA/QC per state requirements, and supporting Radiologist with fluoroscopic procedures. Must demonstrate proficiency in imaging quality, radiation safety, patient care, and coordination with multiple departments; ARRT certification and NJ license required; diploma from a vocational/technical school; BLS; 0-1 years experience (2-4 years preferred). Travel to satellite offices as needed; strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Pay range: $37.69-$47.12 hourly; benefits and total rewards provided.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma from a vocational/technical school
- ARRT certificate required
- BLS required
- NJ Bureau of Radiological Health license required
- 0-1 years experience required
- 2-4 years preferred
- Knowledge of fluoroscopy procedures
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
