Job Summary
Explain procedures clearly, address patient concerns, and ensure correct positioning for musculoskeletal imaging. Operate X-ray equipment safely to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues while applying proper immobilization techniques. Perform routine equipment checks, adhere to quality control standards, and monitor restocking of supplies. Record procedures and imaging results accurately within the electronic medical record system. Work independently in a busy clinical setting while collaborating with orthopedic specialists to enhance patient quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Desired Qualifications
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography
- 1+ year of experience as an X-Ray Technician
