Job Summary
Perform diagnostic outpatient imaging on patients while ensuring proper radiation exposure requirements. Produce high-quality diagnostic images and proper patient positioning by operating equipment and assisting radiologists for procedures as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and terminology with knowledge of anatomy, input patient data into RIS, PACS, and VSDM, and observe patient privacy policies. Preform routine cleaning of work areas, equipment, laundry, and stocking. Ensure proper care and compassion with all patients while following appropriate policies and procedures for exams. Attendance at meetings and training sessions may be required, occasionally scheduled outside regular working hours.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Diagnostic Radiology Program of 2 or more years
- Must hold a current ARRT certificate
- Must continue to obtain the recommended amount of Continuing Educations Credits each year per certification(s)
- Continuing education in accordance of the ARRT, ACR, and State of Michigan
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Frequently required to stand

- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Tuesday & Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Possibility of rotation at other offices
