Job Summary
Perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases. Responsibilities include positioning patients, practicing ALARA radiation protection techniques, processing images for quality control, and assisting providers with patient treatments. The role also includes performing maintenance on equipment, maintaining records and logs, and serving as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant as needed. Qualifications include an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, ARRT registration preferred, and necessary state licensure.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT-registered or board eligible preferred
- Licensed per state regulation
- Medical Assistant Certification or registry, Practical Nursing License, EMT or Paramedic certification may be acceptable in some states
