Job Summary
Perform radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease. Assist with administrative and clinical needs as appropriate, such as patient registration and medical assisting duties. Greet patients and explain procedures, position patients for imaging, apply ALARA techniques, process and review images for quality, prepare images for reading by physicians/radiologists, utilize digital and non-digital equipment, assist with prescribed treatments, perform routine maintenance and diagnose minor malfunctions, complete forms/reports, and serve as Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant as needed. ARRT-registered with BLS, Diagnostic Radiography license required; willingness to obtain phlebotomy and vaccine administration certification. Location: Elizabeth, NJ. This position supports part-time radiography duties at AFC locations withроп flexible scheduling; benefits include PTO, health and dental insurance, retirement plan, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or six months to one-year related experience and/or training. ARRT-registered, BLS certification, Diagnostic Radiography license required, willingness to obtain certification for phlebotomy and vaccine administration.
