Job Summary
Conduct high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with precision while supporting MRI and CT workflows, including assisting with patient positioning and preparation. Administer IV contrast in accordance with protocol after screening for contraindications, ensuring safe and effective imaging procedures. Maintain accurate documentation in RIS, PACS, and EMR systems while consistently applying radiation safety and infection control standards. Collaborate with remote imaging teams to coordinate patient flow and assist with complex cases in a high-volume outpatient setting. Guide students and less experienced technologists in imaging procedures and safety protocols. Enjoy a consistent schedule with no overnight, on-call, or weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
- Valid state licensure (as applicable)
- BLS certification
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program
- Experience with venipuncture and IV contrast administration
- 1–2 years of radiography experience (outpatient or hospital preferred)
- Exposure to or training in CT and/or MRI
- Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to manage workflow independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
