Job Summary
Operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs per physician protocols; perform epidural procedures; ensure high-quality images; prepare patients, obtain history, and explain exams; maintain patient safety and ALARA-compliant radiation protection; select proper technical factors and develop radiographs; assist during fluoroscopic procedures; report equipment problems; train new staff; participate in radiology QA and uphold organizational values.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Must have active, valid registration and continued certification through the ARRT
- Knowledge of x-ray procedures and epidural procedures required
- Ability to operate all equipment and machinery, including processors and computer systems, required
