Job Summary
Prepare and perform x-rays within scope of practice, practicing patient shielding and ALARA standards while maintaining accurate logs of exams, LMP, and shielding. Verify the condition of the network and x-ray server, then clean cassettes, tables, and chest boards after each procedure. Assist clinicians with medical support and complete additional front and back-office duties, including collecting payments for services rendered. Basic Life Support certification is required, along with a Level II background screening and AHCA clearance. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- License for Radiologic Technologists (RT)
- Basic Machine Operator (BMO)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA
Desired Qualifications
- Prior recent experience in a healthcare setting such as an emergency department, urgent care, or other ambulatory clinic
