Job Summary
Prepare patients for and perform radiologic procedures, including x-rays within scope of practice. Practice patient shielding and ALARA standards while maintaining accurate logs of exams, LMP, and shielding. Verify network and x-ray server conditions, then clean cassettes, tables, and chest boards after each procedure. Complete additional front and back-office duties as required by daily clinic operations, such as collecting payments for services rendered. This full-time role in Gainesville (Midtown) requires an RT or BMO license, BLS certification, and Level II background clearance.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- License for Radiologic Technologists (RT)
- Basic Machine Operator (BMO)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA
Desired Qualifications
- Prior recent experience in a healthcare setting such as an emergency department, urgent care, or other ambulatory clinic
