Job Summary
Conduct quality diagnostic imaging and perform Medical Assistant duties including vitals, phlebotomy, charting, and medication administration. Triage patients per clinical policy, update demographics, and relay instructions while accompanying patients to exam rooms. Prepare and disinfect equipment, manage inventory, and clean back-office areas to maintain infection control standards. Accurately document all patient information in electronic medical records and call patients with lab results. This role supports Local MD Clinical policy Urgent Care patients, vendors, and coworkers within a service-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Licensure in Radiologic Technology or Completion of Radiologic Technology program
- Applicable state licensure (as required by state)
- Active Driver's License
- Mastery of best practice x-ray procedures and protocols
- Understanding of the anatomy and physiology necessary to perform x-ray testing, including body mechanics and patient movement
- Knowledge of radiology equipment, including safety hazards common to radiology
- Capability to identify equipment issues and troubleshoot problems
- Capacity to apply written instructions and standardized work practices and protocols
- Friendly and outstanding customer service skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Basic computer skills, including the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Working knowledge of and adherence to Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations
- Must be able to work collaboratively with all Local MD Clinical staff
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
