Job Summary
Ensure appropriate supplies and equipment are ready for scheduled procedures and maintain radiology equipment in proper working condition. Position and reposition equipment during imaging, process fluoroscopy images, and perform daily C-arm cleaning and general maintenance. Conduct daily warm-up and inspections, capture phantom images, and execute quarterly QA testing logs. Review and distribute radiation monitoring devices and reports monthly, investigating any exposures exceeding limits. Perform standard x-ray imaging as ordered by providers and assist in daily operations to ensure excellent patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field
- Appropriate state licensure
- Proven experience working as an X-ray technician
- Working knowledge of radiographic equipment
- Ability to move or lift patients
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to navigate health EHR systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology
