Job Summary
Operate and maintain x-ray machines, determine individual technique for examinations, and position patients properly. Perform procedures with patient confirmation, ensuring proper shielding. Produce quality x-rays with correct Patient ID. Escort patients, assist healthcare providers, and maintain equipment, including wheelchairs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, alongside strong computer abilities and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current/active ARRT license
- Knowledge of radiologic standards, requirements and regulations
- Thorough knowledge of Orthopedic terminology and anatomy
