Job Summary
Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare rooms with necessary supplies while performing Medical Assistant duties. Greets patients promptly, communicates wait times, and provides direction for treatment steps. Obtains and documents vital signs, history, and medications; assists with patient transfers and procedures supervised by providers. Ensures equipment is in proper working order and maintains current licensure and certification. Follows quality control procedures and radiation protection techniques to ensure patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
