Job Summary
Prepare patients for and perform radiologic procedures, including x-rays within scope of practice. Practice patient shielding and ALARA standards while maintaining an accurate log of exams, documenting LMP and shielding details. Verify network and x-ray server conditions, then clean cassettes, tables, and chest boards after each procedure. Perform additional front and back-office duties as required by daily clinic operations, including collecting payments for services rendered. Maintain Basic Life Support certification and pass a Level II background screening and AHCA clearance. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- License for Radiologic Technologists (RT)
- Basic Machine Operator (BMO)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA
Desired Qualifications
- Prior recent experience in a healthcare setting such as an emergency department, urgent care, or other ambulatory clinic
