Job Summary
Prepare and perform x-rays within scope of practice, practicing patient shielding and ALARA standards while maintaining accurate logs of exams, LMP, and shielding. Verify network and x-ray server conditions, clean cassettes, tables, and chest boards post-procedure, and execute additional front and back-office duties such as collecting payments. Requires a high school diploma, Radiologic Technologist or Basic Machine Operator license, and Basic Life Support certification. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- License for Radiologic Technologists (RT)
- Basic Machine Operator (BMO)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA
Desired Qualifications
- Prior recent experience in a healthcare setting such as an emergency department, urgent care, or other ambulatory clinic
