X-Ray Tech

Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement, operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare rooms with necessary supplies. Greet patients, communicate wait times, provide direction for treatment steps, and solve patient problems while recognizing emergent situations. Execute follow-up calls, assist with patient check-in/out, obtain vital signs, document histories, and complete required documentation. Assist with patient transfers, procedures supervised by providers, and quality control procedures to ensure exams are performed safely. Maintain equipment in proper working order and report malfunctions. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures following clinical and regulatory safety procedures. Maintain diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills while ensuring current licensure and certification.
