Job Summary
Conduct x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare rooms with necessary supplies. Greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide direction for treatment steps. Obtain and document vital signs, history, and medications. Assist with patient transfers, procedures, and front desk check-in/out. Ensure equipment is in working order and follow quality control procedures. Maintain current licensure and diagnostic imaging skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- Must be available for rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule
- Must be available for 12-hour weekday shifts
- Must be available for every-other weekend
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday shifts (12 p.m. to 7 p.m.)
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday shifts (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
- Must be available for Monday through Friday shifts (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
- Must be available for Sunday shifts (1 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
- Must maintain current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment and licensure
- Must be able to lift and move patients (implied by body mechanics and patient movement duties)
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
