Job Summary
Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement while operating diagnostic equipment and preparing rooms with necessary supplies. Greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide direction for treatment steps while addressing emergent situations and executing follow-up calls. Obtain and document patient vital signs, history, and medications; assist with patient transfers, front desk check-in/out, and procedures supervised by providers. Ensure equipment is in working order, maintain current licensure, and follow quality control and radiation protection protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- Must be available for rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule
- Must be available for 12-hour weekday shifts
- Must be available for every-other weekend
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday shifts (12 p.m. to 7 p.m.)
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday shifts (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
- Must be available for Monday through Friday shifts (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
- Must be available for Sunday shifts (1 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
