Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic imaging, fluoroscopy, and mobile imaging procedures across clinic, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings in Utah County. Operate complex equipment with precision while transferring patients, navigating crowded rooms, and managing heavy supplies. Perform general radiography, procedural support, and ambulatory care duties based on licensure, ARRT certification, and department needs. Engage in frequent verbal communication with patients and providers during emergency situations. Manage patient care documentation and medication preparation using computer systems. Full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts available with hourly rates ranging from $29.14 to $44.94.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification or registry eligibility
- Current Radiologic Technologist or Limited Scope Radiographer license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Ability to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
- Ability to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Ability to use computers and type for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation
- Ability to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Ability to bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment including heavy items
- Ability to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
- Ability to navigate crowded and busy rooms with equipment and power cords on the floor
- Ability to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
