X-Ray Field Service Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for medical imaging equipment including x-ray, C-Arms, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy systems. Perform scheduled planned maintenance events and install imaging equipment while managing site inspections, planning, and interactions with customers and contractors. Complete all necessary state and FDA paperwork for radiation-generating equipment and order parts and supplies for assigned tickets. Provide on-call service coverage after normal business hours on a rotation basis with team members. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations while closing service tickets and submitting expense reports. This home office-based role includes limited overnight travel for service and training at customer facilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- AA in Electronics
- 5 Plus years' experience in the Medical Imaging Field Service industry with proven knowledge and skill in diagnosing and repair Medical Imaging equipment
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Detail oriented and self-motivated individual
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Proficient in basic computer skills, windows and networking applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
- Must be available for On-Call service coverage after normal business hours on a rotation basis
- Must be able to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

- Training and experience on Summit / Amrad Medical Imaging
