Job Summary
The X-ray/CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT procedures and assisting in patient care within the emergency room setting. This role requires maintaining a high standard of practice for radiology/CT supplies and equipment, while ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures. Ideal candidates will have relevant certifications and experience, particularly in an ER environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
- Currently licensed to practice in the State of Texas (TMB)
- CPR / BLS Certification required
- Two (3) years’ experience in the ER preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Certifications in area of specialty encouraged (AART, etc.)
