X-Ray & Computed Tomography Technologist, Full-time, Variable Shift

Job Summary
Operate x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography equipment while performing at least three modalities regularly. Safely transport patients between gurneys and wheelchairs, test defibrillators, check crash cart integrity, and perform mobile imaging examinations as needed. Prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures and conduct other job-related duties assigned. Requires an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, state Radiologic Tech license, and ARRT certification in at least one modality plus ability to perform duties in another advanced modality. CPR or BLS certification is required. Full-time variable shift employment at Adventist Health Sonora in Tuolumne and Calaveras counties.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography(M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Sonography(S) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R)
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRRT-NMT) or State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RTPET
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's)
- Master's Degree
- Three years' technical experience
