Job Summary
X-Ray Assistant position at Newport Orthopedic Institute focuses on back-office support: preparing patients for physician visits, assisting with procedures, handling x-ray requests, transporting patients, managing films and archives, and supporting physicians and staff using Centricity, TouchChart, and PACS. Responsibilities include scheduling tests, performing X-Ray related duties, maintaining patient confidentiality per HIPAA, and contributing to a team with other medical assistants to deliver an excellent patient encounter.
