Job Summary
Obtain x-ray orders from the Radiology Front Desk, distribute them among rooms for optimal patient flow, and escort patients to Radiology. Verify body part and laterality on clinic orders, enter referrals into the EMR, and record exam and technician information in the daily log. Assist Radiologic Technologists with room cleaning, disinfection, and setup; cross-train to cover the Front Desk during breaks. Act as a liaison between technologists and ordering physicians for order clarification and escort physicians to the CT suite for guided injections. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2 years' experience in a medical environment
- Excellent written, interpersonal oral communication skills
- Strong data entry skills
