Job Summary
Deliver packages on time while safely driving and performing safety inspections on company vehicles. Provide excellent customer service despite stressful conditions, load and unload packages, and use a smartphone device for GPS navigation, scanning, and administrative tasks. Communicate effectively with the support team, participate in rescue calls, and assist other team members with their routes. Work in all weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs, and get in and out of a van 200+ times per shift. Expect a typical workday of up to 10 hours over 2-3 days per week with a flexible rotating schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
- Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
- Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
- Must be able to lift packages (up to 50 lbs)
- Must be able to get in and out of a van 200+ times during your assigned shift
- Must be able to deliver 300-400 packages
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
- Must be able to use a smartphone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors and other team members
- Must be able to load and unload packages in the delivery vehicle
- Must be able to participate in rescue calls
- Must be able to communicate effectively with the support team
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions
- Must be able to keep pace in a physically demanding job
Desired Qualifications
- Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory
