Job Summary
Provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing services across Wyoming rural hospitals, clinics, and public health districts. Oversee clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory readiness, and workforce planning while strengthening nursing culture and employee engagement. Develop and mentor nursing leaders, collaborate with executive teams and governing boards, and support the organization's response to evolving community needs. This role requires flexible, visible leadership that builds trust with frontline staff and community partners. Opportunities span critical access hospitals, rural health clinics, and integrated systems, offering the chance to shape care for entire communities.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensure or eligibility for Wyoming licensure
- Progressive nursing leadership experience
- Experience as a CNO, Vice President of Nursing, Chief Clinical Officer, Director of Nursing, or comparable senior leader
- Strong knowledge of quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and nursing operations
- Experience leading teams through growth, transition, or organizational change
- Rural, Critical Access Hospital, public hospital district, FQHC, or community healthcare experience
- A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
