Job Summary
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the organization's financial functions, including developing budgets, forecasts, and long-term sustainability strategies. Oversee accounting, financial reporting, cash flow, audits, and internal controls while supporting revenue cycle performance and reimbursement strategy. Monitor financial performance to communicate results to executive leadership and governing boards, managing relationships with auditors, banks, vendors, and government agencies. Partner with operational and clinical leaders to improve performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and navigate growth or financial uncertainty. This role connects directly to patient access, workforce stability, and community trust within Wyoming's rural healthcare systems.
Required Qualifications
- Progressive healthcare finance leadership experience
- Experience as a CFO, Vice President of Finance, Controller, Finance Director, or comparable senior leader
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, accounting, audits, reimbursement, and financial reporting
- Experience presenting financial information to boards and executive teams
- An understanding of rural healthcare operations and reimbursement
- Experience with Critical Access Hospitals, public hospital districts, FQHCs, Rural Health Clinics, or community healthcare organizations
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, healthcare administration, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- A master's degree, CPA, or another advanced credential
