Job Summary
WWTP Operator responsible for installing electrical systems, wiring, conduit work, securing brackets, and maintaining equipment at a life-sciences-focused facility. Core duties include stripping insulation, attaching wires to terminals, fabricating conduit supports, inspecting electrical units for loose connections, and ensuring adherence to cGMP and safety policies. The role requires coordinating with engineers and technicians, requisitioning materials, and supporting multiple departments. Must be able to work extra hours, nights, weekends, and respond to emergency calls; bilingual note: description includes Spanish-language statement of equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a relevant science, biology, chemistry, environmental discipline or related field
- Technical degree with years of equivalent industrial/commercial experience in boiler operation or wastewater treatment facility where water softeners and chemical treatments were used
- Must possess W-4 License
