Job Summary
Engage with Affiliate BTS business stakeholders to understand data needs, collect requirements, and lead data projects delivering actionable insights. Act as a trusted advisor by communicating analytics value, fostering a data-driven culture, and collaborating with Data Engineering, UI, and ML teams to prioritize initiatives. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, develop project plans, allocate resources, and manage timelines from initiation to delivery. Present findings and recommendations clearly to ensure successful project completion and alignment with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Master's Degree
- 6 years of experience in Data Engineering
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Lead, Data Engineer, ML Engineer, Analyst or in a similar role
- at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Strong understanding of business processes and objectives
- Ability to translate business needs into data requirements and actionable insights
- Strong understanding of data, data modeling, and the value data can bring to business decisions
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from complex datasets
- Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools
- Proven experience in leading and managing data projects
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
