Job Summary
Support recruitment initiatives by participating in local community outreach events and staffing trips, while conducting interviews and facilitating onboarding for new and returning team members. Monitor front office areas to ensure a safe, clean environment, manage a multi-line phone system, and maintain organized seasonal employee files. Assist with team member relations efforts, wardrobe appointments, and Guest Service initiatives, plus help with inventory counts and supply levels. Maintain timesheets, log disciplinary documents, and guide New Hire Orientation sessions. Adhere to all Six Flags policies and standards, perform general office maintenance tasks, and assist with special projects as assigned. This seasonal, entry-level position offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and promotion opportunities for those passionate about helping others.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to live the Six Flags Mantra and adhere to all grooming standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to use independent judgment and effectively prioritize.
- Proven ability to positively communicate effectively in English both verbal and written.
- Proven possession of the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs with or without assistance.
- Ability to demonstrate effective written communication to include reports, tracking systems, file notes, e-mail correspondence, and other required methods.
- Ability to maintain objectivity in times of pressure.
