Job Summary
Update all ETAs through consistent monitoring with agents and schedule drivers to ensure goods are delivered by the correct address within time limits. Monitor dispatch operations and driver utilization to maintain efficient, cost-effective transport aligned with demand. Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations regarding dangerous goods, placards, and certificates while managing correct document flow, reporting, and tracking. Report and take action to ensure professional and timely deliveries, keeping delivery trucks maintained to appropriate standards. Work outside normal business hours as needed, requiring flexibility and the ability to communicate on all levels within a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate on all levels
- Ability to work in a team and on own initiatives
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Good knowledge of and experience within worldwide transportation methods and requirements
- Good knowledge of Dangerous Goods transportation regulations in all transport modes
- In depth familiarity and knowledge of transportation rules and regulations
- Ability to work outside normal business working hours
Desired Qualifications
- Dangerous Good Certification
- Maritime experience
- Systematic, organized and accurate
- Good knowledge of products carried
