Job Summary
The ASC Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing safe, quality nursing care to surgery patients throughout the surgical continuum, including preoperative assessment and post-operative education. Key responsibilities include assisting ophthalmologists in procedures, ensuring patient safety, preparing patients for surgery, and maintaining a sterile environment. Candidates must have at least one year of preferred experience and must possess current licensure and certifications required for nursing practice. Expertise in safety principles and effective communication is essential, alongside robust organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN Licensure in good standing in the State of Oregon
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Experience acquired from Accredited School of Nursing
