Job Summary
Service Technicians inspect and repair modular buildings, performing framing and finish carpentry, light electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear, and other repair tasks. Responsibilities include conducting safety/environmental compliance, training and safety observations, maintaining clean work areas, operating company vehicles with a valid license, performing inspections to assess repair scope and damages for invoicing, creating floor plan drawings as needed, executing customer-requested modifications, managing inventory of tools/parts, providing courteous customer service, ensuring trailers are ready for scheduled deliveries with quality standards, and performing related tasks in the yard and at field locations. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, independent work ability, basic computer literacy and strong communication skills, carpentry knowledge, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record; additional electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus.
