Job Summary
Oversee a team of Vocational Support Advisors under a contract with Vocational Rehabilitation, providing supervision and coordination of workforce activities in compliance with the contract. Expand and maintain positive partnerships with clients, the business community, and program funders while implementing strategies to improve service quality. Directly supervise assigned personnel through recruiting, hiring, orienting, training, monitoring, and evaluating. Manage key tasks including assigning client caseloads, monitoring quality assurance, conducting program evaluations, and writing reports. Ensure compliance with program goals, outreach targets, and reporting requirements in consultation with Workforce leadership. Requires a BA/BS in a related field, two years of workforce development experience, and a valid Maine driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in rehabilitation, business, communication, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of experience working in workforce development or related field
- Demonstrated ability to use personal computer, to include; e-mail, Internet, and Microsoft Office software
- Reliable transportation with proof of current automobile insurance
- Valid driver's license permitting operation of a vehicle in the State of Maine with a satisfactory driving record
- Criminal background check that meets Agency standards
