Job Summary

Assist in building and designing sets and props for theatre productions, manage back stage show run duties, and support event set ups. Help with sound and light designs while performing any other duties assigned by the Technical Director. This hands-on internship provides experience in technical theatre operations during summer camps serving local children and adults. Weekend work is required, with schedules running two-week cycles from 8:30-3:30 weekdays plus three weekend performances. Hours will not exceed 40 per week, and students must enroll concurrently in CVL 401.

Required Qualifications

  • A current UPIKE student
  • Interest/major/minor in Theatre or relevant field
  • Weekend work
  • Student must enroll concurrently into CVL 401: Integrated Internship Experience
  • Student must successfully complete CVL 401: Integrated Internship Experience
