Job Summary
Execute modular building and storage unit deliveries, including site assessments, secure transport, and complete setup of Value-Added Products. Operate a commercial vehicle over 26,000 lbs to relocate units across diverse roadways, conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections for DOT compliance. Secure loads with proper tie-downs and rigging tools, while independently performing setups and tear downs involving cribbing, leveling, and basic anchoring. Collaborate with dispatch and field teams to manage route updates, address terrain challenges, and confirm delivery windows. Act as the primary customer liaison to resolve on-site challenges and recommend additional products like ramps and locks. Log all delivery completions and status updates using mobile apps or GPS systems.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL Driver (US) or CDL AZ or Class 1 (Canada)
- Local, Home Daily
- Minimum Required Education level: High School Diploma/GED/CAEC
- Years of related experience: 2+
- A current valid CDL license and a clean driving record with no major violations
- An up to date DOT or TC and Physical card is required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using digital tools for routing, logging, and communication (e.g., GPS, electronic logs)
- Demonstrated ability to assess and navigate varied delivery environments
- Prior experience in commercial driving and load security
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with basic load security or construction environment
- Previous commercial driving experience hauling wide-loads preferred
- Experience with modular set-up and knock down is preferred
