Job Summary
Class A CDL Driver II responsible for the full execution of modular and storage unit deliveries, including site assessment, secure transport, and the complete setup of modular buildings and Value-Added Products (VAPS). Operates a 26,000+ lb commercial vehicle with independent, safety-conscious execution—pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load securement (tie-downs, chains, rigging), and adherence to DOT/TC regulations. Performs on-site assessments, coordinates with dispatch and safety teams, and acts as the primary customer liaison during delivery and setup, including cribbing, leveling, and basic anchoring of modular buildings and VAPS installation. Uses routing tools (GPS, electronic logs) and follows safety policies. Minimum education: High School Diploma/GED/CAEC; 2+ years of related experience; strong emphasis on safety, load security, and effective communication. Local, home-daily position with benefits and a $29.95-$41.90 hourly wage (base). An Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- A current valid CDL license and a clean driving record with no major violations
- An up to date DOT or TC and Physical card is required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using digital tools for routing, logging, and communication (e.g., GPS, electronic logs)
- Demonstrated ability to assess and navigate varied delivery environments
- Prior experience in commercial driving and load security
