Job Summary
Class A CDL Driver (US) or CDL AZ or Class 1 (Canada) responsible for safely transporting modular buildings and storage containers using heavy commercial equipment. Local, home daily with on-site customer coordination, and installation of Value-Added Products (VAPS) such as ramps, steps, or locks. Drive to varied locations, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure loads with tie-downs, and ensure compliance with DOT/TC regulations. Serve as the customer-facing representative at delivery, communicate with dispatch, perform on-site assessments of terrain and access restrictions, and maintain safety and professional conduct throughout delivery operations.
Required Qualifications
- A current valid CDL license
- A clean driving record with no major violations
- Up to date DOT or TC and Physical card
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using digital tools for routing, logging, and communication (GPS, electronic logs)
- Demonstrated ability to assess and navigate varied delivery environments
- Prior experience in commercial driving and load security
