Job Summary
Branch Operations Manager (BOM) at WillScot responsible for safety, controlling costs, managing the branch operations workforce, and efficiently managing inventory across the branch. Leads production, off-rents, fleet maintenance, parts and VAPS, budgeting, and ensures timely, high-quality service while maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships. Drives On-Time Deliveries, Returns, Relocations, and Service with a focus on first-time quality and customer satisfaction. Collaborates with HR and leadership to recruit and develop the branch workforce, optimizes logistics and safety compliance, and utilizes systems for cost-effective revenue delivery. Requires high school diploma or GED (or 3 years of applicable experience) and prior management experience in a service/shop/manufacturing/building construction environment, along with budget management skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or 3 years of applicable experience
- 5 years’ experience managing one or more direct reports in a service shop/manufacturing/building construction environment. OR 2 years of experience with WillScot
- Experience managing a unit or departmental budget. OR 2 years of experience with WillScot
- MS Office/Excel/Word/Outlook experience
- Ability follow direction and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience applying creativity to problem-solving
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with vendors through open, proactive communication
- Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
