WRVC Educational Technician

Educational Technician III at WRVC supports instructors by assisting with classroom and laboratory activities, enabling hands-on learning in Building Trades and Electrical programs, reinforcing concepts, and providing individual or small-group help to meet academic and technical goals. The role involves work indoors and outdoors across classrooms, technical shop spaces, and off-site construction/job sites, with duties including classroom organization, student participation monitoring, coverage when instructors are unavailable, and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment. Candidates should have a working knowledge of construction-related math (measurement, fractions, area, volume, geometry), familiarity with carpentry and common hand and power tools, safety procedures, and a collaborative, adaptable approach to support student workforce readiness. Maine State Ed Tech III Certification 023 or 025 is required.
