Job Summary

Write and produce content for Kanguq magazine, social media platforms, the website, newsletters, and corporate communications. Conduct interviews with cooperative representatives and gather information for feature stories. Create and publish content on Facebook and Instagram, monitor interactions, and develop communications for significant Inuit community events. Support the planning and logistics of training activities and corporate events, including representing the organization at gatherings. Collaborate with external vendors such as graphic designers and printers. This role contributes to the Federation's mission of highlighting Nunavik's cooperatives and communities through the "Atautsikut" vision of working together.

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field, or high school diploma with relevant experience
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in communications, content creation or media-related roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Inuktitut and English
  • Strong writing and storytelling abilities
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of French
