Job Summary
Produce, translate, update, and manage game-related text content and documentation from production workflow through QA release. Collaborate with game development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure compliance with standards and certification requirements. Act as a subject matter resource for game studios on documentation processes, including descriptive documents, graphic help pages, and QA ticket handling. Validate text accuracy and game rules for the casino gaming industry while writing, maintaining, and translating multi-departmental content in French and English. Work with project managers to apply writing and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma (DEC) in a related field or relevant experience
- 5+ years of work experience in writing/translating
- Excellent writing skills in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both French and English
- Ability to write clear and complete descriptive texts from complex game mechanics
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable using computer-assisted translation (CAT) and AI tools, as well as website translation plug-ins
- Excellent interpersonal and adaptability skills
- Good ability with the Office suite and Teams
- Good knowledge of the casino game industry
- Must be able to travel locally, nationally or internationally
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a game development environment
- Knowledge of management software (Easy Redmine, Jira…)
