Job Summary
Conduct research and interviews, turn around urgent copy to deadline, and write big-impact investigations and commentary pieces on financial services legislation and regulatory risks. Identify stories appealing to the readership and support senior journalists by preparing information for coverage while explaining complex policy topics. Break market-moving news with forward-looking insight to help inform decision-makers, ensuring attention to detail in high-pressure reporting. This role focuses on the UK market within MLex, a global news organization providing exclusive market insight on regulatory risk across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Required Qualifications
- Great reporting, media or publishing industry experience or knowledge
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work across international teams
- Commitment to producing high-quality, accurate reporting
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Fluent command of English
