Job Summary
Conduct wrestling instruction and mentorship for athletes, focusing on physical strength, mental resilience, and movement mechanics. Follow designated rotation schedules and curricula while managing administrative duties such as verifying attendance, completing safety checks, and updating progress reports. Enforce standard attire policies and maintain high student retention rates by staying fully engaged in each class. Commit to consistent weekday availability and weekend coverage during competitive season.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge in the sport of wrestling
- Minimum of 2 years experience coaching with children ages 2 and older
- Minimum of 4 years athletic experience
- Regular long-term availability of at minimum three days per week
- Weekend availability during competitive wrestling season (October to April)
- Commit to a consistent schedule
- Follow the designated rotation schedule and curricula
- Complete all administrative duties asked of you such as verifying attendance, completing safety checks, following lesson plans and updating progress reports of your students
- Help set, maintain, and enforce standard attire policies for the program(s)
Desired Qualifications
- High school and college athletic experience
- Patient and passionate about working with children in youth sports
- Has an energetic & enthusiastic coaching style and approachable personality
- Dedicated, committed, hardworking and willing to increase their knowledge about the program
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
